Mondays

Why is it that most people hate Mondays. Just because it is the start to a new week of work or school? Well I have determined that most people really just don't like the way there life is going and they take it out on the fact they are required by society to do something with there life. Basically you have to go to school to get an education, then you have to get a job to pay your way through the world. Well from childhood on we rebel against what we have to do. Every child pushes back some what on just about everything they are told they have to do. Then as we get older we stop pushing and just say that is the way it is. Then we come up with this grudge against Mondays. Well here is what I have to say about that. I think it is time for people to stop accepting things the way they are and make them the way you want. You will not always get them that way but at least you are trying. If you really dislike Mondays because of your job. Go find a new source of income. There are plenty of possibilities out there. Until you do this stop complaining about Mondays and realize this is the life you have chosen and either live it or change it to what will make you happy every day. That is my plan, I like my current job, I enjoy the freedoms I have and the pay is very nice also. I do have an issue with money though. The problem is I was young and dumb. I did not plan correctly now I am in huge debt. As of a couple of months ago I set myself up on a plan to eliminate my debt in 5 years. I wish it could be done sooner but so far I don't see that happening. I will however be looking for a part time job to asst in this. I am married with four children and yes this is hard to but in the long run I think it will be better for all if I follow this plan. I hope my marriage can handle this. We have not been doing good for some time now and money always add to the problems. I hope my kids can understand the need for this also because it will help them in the long run too. My oldest will be just turning 18 when I get debt free in 5 years and I will be able to assist in further education for him at that point. Next my oldest daughter will be 16 what a time for a new car. And the other two will be 12 and 10. They will see the full benefits of a better managed money system from me. I make pretty good money and when all my debt is paid for except for my mortgage on my house I will have $1500 a month extra. That is how much I am paying a month to reduce my debt to $0.
So to make a long story short I don't hate Mondays I know that I must go to work every week to accomplish my financial goals and I do not hate my job. I will someday be better off than I am now financially. Do I wish there is someplace else I would rather be? Of course but this is the path I have chosen right now and I am sticking to it. My latest dream is to be a soccer coach and get paid for it. I currently am only at the rec level but will be moving on to the next level shortly.

Stupid Rich People

Kanye West epitomizes stupid rich people for me. Why is it they feel they can do whatever they want. Why is it they need so much attention then they complain about it when they get it. Not all wealthy people are stupid but there are enough. Coming from an average family I just don't understating how some people can be so insensible to other people. I think nobody has the need for the kind of money that these people have. I think that is what makes them think they have the right to behave the way they do. If they did not have that security they would not be doing what they do. I sure know I would not. Society as a whole needs to get back to basics and start respecting other and regain there morale compass. This is not a hard thing to do. Lets just try by helping out by becoming a volunteer at something anything. I volunteer at coaching soccer and one of my biggest things i coach the children is respect, fair play. One day if we work at it we can get where we need to be as a society.

Why Brett

What is up web. Tonight I am coming to you with a rant about athletes and one in particular. Brett Farve, don't get me wrong by this rant I am a Brett fan. I think he has done a excellent job in the NFL. The stats speak for themselves but I do have an issue with him and most other athletes. Why is it they don't just come out and tell you the truth. The drama that is involved with the retirement non retirement and so on has got to stop. Really what does it matter what team he plays for or any other athletes for that matter. Yes teams want the best players they can get talent wise but lately (many years) athletes think they are entitled to something. They are not. Maybe my issue is not with the players but the fans. Why do we care what team has him. Is your team not good enough? if not what can you do about it? Not much, That is the biggest problem I see. People really think they have a say in what goes on because they are fans. Well if you had a say how come you are the one getting the worst deal out of this. Fans get some entertainment in watching a game but boy have we be suckered into paying way to much to do that. I not just talking about the sixty dollar ticket to the game, but the food and drink, parking, and so on. Now you say well then I will just watch it on TV and that is free. Well I say not if you have cable or satellite and then you went and got that extra package to watch every game that is played for the season. Why do you really need that. Then lets say you don't have any of that. You can usually watch your favorite team on free broadcast (which I recommend). But yet this is not free, yep advertisements pay for that as we all know. But for the sad part even a person who hats football is paying for all those athletes millions of dollars. Yep because those companies have to get there money from somewhere and that comes from every purchase we make every day whether you like it or not. people will complain about gas prices until the end of time but you never here anyone say I cant believe a 12 ounce Coke is a $1.39, Do you realize that is $14.87 a gallon, and we complain about gas! I don't understand why we as people let ourselves get taken advantage of but as an individual we will not stand up for that. The same thing happens in politics. If you think it is too much to get tickets to a game you don't. But there is always the next person in line to get that ticket you did not. But we all complain that almost all athletes make way to much money. Then they complain about it and don't try as hard as they should. When something gets to big like the football or the government something needs to be done. Lets sit back and think about what happened to all other great empires that were like ours. They all collapsed. We are on the same path of greed and self preservation as all other great civilizations were in the past and this Brett thing is just another example of that. What makes him so special that needs 14 million dollars this year and gets all this news coverage. Just because he plays football, very well I will add. I would enjoy to go watch football but I just don think it is worth it. In the long run I would rather watch a youth sporting event in the community. What do you think?????????????????????

Cable vs Satilite vs broadcast TV

Recently I removed satellite TV from my house. One of the best things I could have ever done. I currently only have broadcast TV. First off I did it to save money. Since the conversion from analog to digital broadcast is great. Why pay for TV that is all ready free. Most of the programs 80% that my family and I watch are broadcast programs. The other programs were just something to pass the time. The biggest benefit I have gotten from this is a understanding that there are other things to do with your time rather than watch TV. Don't get me wrong I like TV like the next person. I just think we are wasting to much time in front of the TV. This is the first year that I have been able to grow a healthy garden. I have tried for the past five years. The flowers that my wife has planted this year are all doing well. I believe this is because instead of plopping down in front of the grove tube we are getting up and taking care of stuff. My kids are watching better programing also. We had a concern that they might get bored. Then we woke up and thought about our childhoods and we did not have the twenty four seven cartoons. That for the most part just drain away a child's imagination. Broadcast TV does have a twenty for seven cartoon channel but the shows on there all have a good message. My kids have become more creative and more interactive with the both of us because we have removed this big distraction from our daily lives. We do gather around and watch some shows but we do not go into separate rooms and watch our own shows. We are getting outside more and enjoying life the way it was meant to be.
One day I think that Americans will come to the same conclusion that we do not need to pay for TV when we get what we need for free. Also most all show that we used to watch are available online. But i have found that we o not go online and watch them. Some things you can just go without. Being a zombie to your family is defiantly something you can go with out. Get up and shut off the 300 channels of nothing to watch and enjoy your family and friends. Life will get better for you it has for me and it has only been 3 months. I can see it only getting better as we get closer.

The Jackson

I told myself I would not talk about the Jackson family after MJ died but. These people seem to be way out there. I do see that some appear to be genuinely upset and sad like Jermain. But the Jo, what the heck is wrong with him. His son just died, he should just stop talking. He doesn't know proper English anyway so just shut up. As for the others that keep saying foul play and murder and so on. Just shut up. The man was hooked on drugs and that is what finally killed him. That is very apparent. If the doctor gave it to him is it murder, I would say no. A crime yes but intent to kill no. Why would a doctor getting $150,000 a month from one client intently kill that client. Accidents happen, yes it is sad that it happened to a man who had an effect on just about every person on the planet in some way or another but an accident. The police will find out what happened and prosecute accordingly.
As for these kids, so sad first off because he was there life and now he is gone. They do not know many other people on that level of intimacy and dam if those kids don't grow up to have some major problems. I would hope that the press would leave them alone because all your going to do is mess them up even more. They should be taken from LA and moved into a small community and that way maybe they could be protected from some of this. There just kids they did not ask for this in any way.

What About Ford

Today I would like to talk about the car companies that are bieng balled out by the goverment. My biggest issue is this, what about Ford? Ford is not doing well right now either but they are not in the goverments pocket begging for money and guidance. Here is what I believe. If GMAC cannont make it then they need to shut down. I am tired of the fact that people think that a big company cannot just be shut down. Well my response to that is, what do think this country was built on. Cars are still in demand not as much as they were in the past but they are still bieng purchased. If GMAC closed then Ford (and other car companies) the winners of the battle would pick up the slack. Plus there might even be some new companies that could come out smaller but more personlized. This is america at its best. Just because some companies cannot manage themselve and control there finance's does not mean that the american public that is also struggling but somehow managing there own personal lifes must bail out these companies. The company I work for had to make some very tough decisions and is still making very tough decisions to make sure we survive and we will. We will be doing thing we dont want to but yet we will doing it to keep the business afloat.
Assets should be sold debt should be repaid from that new plans and new business will fill in the gaps. There might be a lot of jobs lost but hey maybe that is also needed. It is vey humbling and driving to do better when you are personally affected. Just like we cannont control the enviromental climate we should not try to control the economical climate. If you fail you fail no more pampering people. People have to do it themselve. Satisfaction from succeding is great. But there will allways be a loser, this is just a basic fact. Losing is also a good thing, you pick yourself up wipe off the dust and move on. America will succeed we are a strong people and shoud not better yet cannot be pampered by the goverment. When that happens it just makes the people feel that when all else fails the goverment will support me and that is not what I believe the govement is there for. Govement has got it hands in way to much stuff. Eventually we will be a nation that completely rely's on govement. Then what????????????
I know there are good people in these companies that would lose ther job and they feel that they have no control over what upper management does with the companies. But I beg to disagree. the people that do the work are the one that can change a company. They are the ones that know there area the best. They know there are better way to do stuff cheaper ways and so on. Upper management just need to listen.
Ok here it is companies that fail no matter the size and nature of the business should have to close down be sold or what ever. Getting bailed out by your unlce is not an option. Said to say that is the way the world works.
Lets make this country great again and stop bailing out every one. People need to support themselve and they will find a way.

Money

This most logical topic to start this blog off with is about money. That is why this blog was created any way. You see I am your average 33 year old father of four living in upper midwest. I have a normal good paying job with good benefits. Money on the other hand is tight. So I have been investagating how I can make more money. I see the people on TV shows that work from home and seem to be doing just fine. I have been wondering for some time now what they do. Well it turns out that you can make money on line with just a computer- internet connection- and some time. I am by no means a proffesional at this but I have made some money. I am hopping to increase what I have made by a lot. Lets start with what I have done. I started with some affiliate marketing on http://paydotcom.com. Truth be told this is the only place I have yet to make any money. It was a very small amount but I was just testing out the proccess and doing research. What you do on this web site promote other website either by posting a link on your web site https://paydotcom.com/r/10031/mike1976/19932467/. When people use your link to the website you post and they make a purchase from that website you are givin a commision from that sale. I have found many other web sites that offer this type of program I have not used any of them because they all required you must have a web site of your own. I will in the future be using other websites also. My plan is to find the best web site with this type of program. You can also do pay per click programs through yahoo or google using paydotcom. What happens there is you pay the search engine to return your link as many times as possible and when someone clicks on it you pay. Usaully between 10 and 50 cents per click. You can go higher if you want. You will also need a paypal account for your money to be transfered to once you get a commision payment.
The main thing you have to keep in mind is that you have to get internet traffic. To make real good money you will need a lot of traffic. But to just make a little extra spending cash just get yourself out there and see if people are interested.
I found that there are many scams out there that promise big dollars. The truth is that you need to have a lot of traffic and be advetising something good. I will keep you up to date on any new sites I find.
